Marketing and Business Development Associate

Gigajot is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Manager who will enjoy working in a fast growing, high-tech startup environment that develops and commercializes disruptive imaging technologies. The candidate will increase awareness and improve customer engagement with existing and new products. The candidate will work closely with the CEO and VP of Business Development to provide marketing support and drive growth opportunities. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Owns, creates, and implements content and marketing strategies on the company’s website to enhance web presence and engagement
  • Coordinates and executes the marketing, planning, and logistics of trade show events
  • Manages and creates technical product collateral materials, such as application notes, technical articles, user manuals, datasheets, product briefs, FAQs, white papers, etc.
  • Creates marketing communications and PR, such as promotional videos, webinars, e-newsletters, social media content, presentations, and press releases
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
  • Point of contact for Gigajot customers, understands the sales flow of what products are currently leased, pending sales, orders in production. May speak with customers on behalf of the VP of Business Development.
  • Reviews and monitors customer support tickets and ensures customers are provided with support as soon as possible. Follows up with customers to ensure product is working properly.
  • Assists with the sales, quoting and invoicing process
  • Assists with developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans
  • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material and other documents as required
  • Assists with recruiting other sales and marketing staff and works with other marketing vendors as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing with B2B technology companies/products with a technical marketing focus
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, WiX, MS Office, and multimedia creation
  • Proficiency with social media channels and their best practices
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills
